Our backcountry touring experiences in the greater Niseko and Mt. Yotei region combine professional mountain guiding, avalanche safety education and access to some of Japan’s deepest powder snow.
Whether you are looking for ski touring in Hokkaido or a splitboard backcountry progression, all sessions include avalanche safety briefings, route planning, terrain assessment and in-depth local knowledge of Niseko backcountry zones. Touring locations may include Annupuri back bowls, Shiribetsu ridgelines, Goshiki Onsen alpine terrain and full Mt. Yotei ascents or foothill powder objectives depending on weather and avalanche conditions.
This program is designed for advanced riders ready to transition from resort freeride into structured backcountry touring, focusing on uphill efficiency, terrain reading and safe mountain travel in real Hokkaido alpine environments. For riders specifically searching for Mt. Yotei ski touring, we offer condition-dependent objectives designed around safe summit attempts or lower elevation powder lines.
