Our Story

What began as a small group of passionate riders in Niseko has grown into Niseko Gates, a dedicated project entirely focused on improving safety, clarity and access for everyone exploring the Niseko backcountry through the famous gates.

With decades of combined experience in Niseko freeride terrain, avalanche forecasting, route-finding and professional Niseko gate guiding, our team is here to help you make informed decisions and enjoy deeper, safer powder days with expert Niseko backcountry guidance.
