Terrain features
Open powder bowls, tree glades, natural pillows and drops, and occasional ravine features. The zone offers plenty of playful terrain but includes flat sections and mandatory traversing on the exit if you go too far, so keeping speed and choosing a smart line are important.
Description
Gate 10 opens access to a more remote Moiwa-side zone on skier’s right, offering deep powder, open bowls, glades, and creative natural features. It’s a rewarding area for committed riders, but the return might be long if you push to hard skiers right and requires careful planning to manage the flat sections and traverses on the way back.

Expert tips
Don’t push too far or you’ll end up well outside the natural return lines. Strong navigation and solid orientation skills are essential, especially in low visibility or deep snow, as the terrain funnels away from the resort.
How to get in
From the top of Moiwa Quad Lift, traverse skier’s right along the boundary rope for a short distance until you reach the clearly marked Gate 10 entrance.
How to get out
Keep following the main fall-line gully; as it opens up, start drifting skier’s left, which will naturally funnel you back toward the Moiwa base area without needing long traverses.
