Terrain features
Open alpine bowls, tree glades, wind lips, natural half-pipes, and large cornices. The terrain is partially sheltered by surrounding trees, creating more consistent snow quality and offering a highly scenic descent with varied, flowing features.
Description
Niseko Village’s dedicated sidecountry access sits beside the top of the Wonderland Chair, opening into long, sustained powder lines that run directly beneath the gondola and follow nearly the full vertical of the resort. The terrain is consistently steep, features varied natural contours, and delivers reliable storm-day laps with deep snow and strong fall-line flow. Perfect for riders looking for continuous freeride lines with minimal transitional terrain.

Expert tips
Carry full avalanche gear. Arrive early, as the terrain is strongly affected by sun exposure and can change quickly throughout the day. It performs best on overcast days after a storm, when the snow stays colder and the conditions remain more consistent.
How to get in
From the top of the Niseko Village Gondola, ski down to the Wonderland Chair base and take the short uphill walk along the cat-track to reach the Gate 11 entrance.
How to get out
It naturally feeds you back onto the lower Niseko Village runs, returning you directly to the resort.
