GATE 6

E – SE

30º to 45º

Open alpine faces, cliff bands, creek walls, natural half-pipes, steep roll-offs, and wind-loaded ridges with minimal tree coverage. The terrain mixes exposed features up high with sculpted channels and sharper transitions lower down, offering a wide range of technical freeride options.

From the top of the Moiwa quad lift and connects to hidden side-country zones like Moiwa Bowl and Mikaeri-no-sawa. The terrain is rugged, with cliffs, creek walls, natural half‑pipes, and steep chutes. Expect short, technical lines followed by traverses or creek run‑outs.

Be prepared for long traverses after the drop, as the exit line often flattens out. Certain sections may become non-skiable, requiring skating or short pushes to reconnect with the return route.

Entry is located just to the right immediately after unloading from the top Moiwa lift.

A long, flat traverse to skier’s right is required to return to the resort.
